Hi! I'm Greg Power and I'd like to welcome you to my site. I'm a professional trumpet player, educator, arranger, conductor and author. I've written a scale and key development book entitled SCALE POWER for WINDS, and the two versions of it (one intended for individual use and the other condensed and transposed for school band use) can be found on the Scale Power page. Additionally,  SCALE POWER for WINDS can be purchased directly from this site.

Primarily, I work as a private music teacher and Jazz Artist In Residence in schools, and information about this part of my professional life can be found on the Education page. As an arranger, I do custom arrangements primarily for cruise ship singers, but have had experience with all sizes and types of ensembles, from middle and high school marching bands to symphony orchestra. I've been very fortunate to have had a wonderful performance life as a trumpet player and conductor, as can be viewed on my Credentials page, and am at liberty for further free-lance work as a performer, or with my jazz quartet, PowerPlay.
